Welcome to FM'ers Forum!  I am starting this website out of necessity.  After many years in the Facilities Management field I required an outlet for my utter frustration with the absense of common sense.  The everyday battle with impossible ignorance.  The knowledge that many of you, like me, got into the field of facilities management because of your love for all things mechanical.  And yet sometimes want to drop everything in exchange for a hot dog cart when we are subjected to codes, standards, and regulations, on all levels and from all AHJ's, that seem to contradict each other at every turn. 

My background is in Healthcare FM, however, this website and blog are dedicated to all FM'ers who are in need of a break from the insanity of reality, and instead can enjoy the lighter side of what we do and what we love. 

Whether you are in Healthcare, Commercial Property, Retail, Fire Protection, whether an administrator, local authority, manager, or maintenance man, we are all FM'ers.  Welcome.
